Our colleague Michel Bouvier, Professor at the University of Montreal and Director of IRIC, will be awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Montpellier under the sponsorship of the IGF. On this occasion, our institute is organizing a symposium on the topic of G protein-coupled receptors highlighting the close links between Michel Bouvier's laboratory and the University of Montpellier and the recent advances in the field.

The symposium will be directly followed by the ceremony of awarding the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Michel Bouvier. Invitations to the ceremony will be directly sent by the President of the University of Montpellier Philippe Augé.
